To ensure that your claims are settled as soon as possible, please follow our claims submission process.

To further reduce the turnaround time for processing of your claims, may submit your claim directly to us via e‑mail or fax:

Important Notice
  • Dear Member

    Please note that Liberty Health (the administrators of Libcare Medical Scheme) will close at 12h00 on the 24th and 31st December 2014. This means that the Libcare call centre and walk in centre will not be available for queries and authorisation requests after this time on those days, and on the public holiday(s) thereafter. Please contact us on the next working day after the closures or send an email to enquiries@libcare.co.za, and we will attend to these promptly when the office re-opens.

    For emergency transport, contact Netcare 911 at 082 911.

  • The Libcare Member Guide and Member Notice for 2015 have been placed onto the website under the Benefit Guide and Member Communication pages.
  • Members will receive their individual Member Benefit Guide and Member Notice via email within the next week, and will be posted to members with no e-mail address.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

  • To access your 2014 AGM documents - click here

  • Members will receive their individual AGM documentation pack via email within the next week, and it will be posted to members for whom we have no email address registered. If you have not received an AGM documentation pack by 1 June, please call our Contact Centre on 0800 1222 73 during office hours.
